Kamala Harris to Attend Los Angeles Fundraiser on Sept. 29

Kamala Harris will make a fundraising visit to Los Angeles on Sept. 29, according to an invitation issued by the Harris Victory Fund.

Tickets to the event, billed as “An Afternoon with Vice President Kamala Harris,” start at $500 and go up to $1 million. Those who donate at least $100,000 can get in line for a photo with Harris, while those at the $250,000 level and above can attend a “liberty luncheon.”

Harris has not been to L.A. for a fundraiser since Joe Biden bowed out of the race eight weeks ago. The last major L.A. fundraiser was June 15 at the Peacock Theater, which raised nearly $30 million for Biden.

Harris raised $361 million in August. Former President Donald Trump raised $130 million over the same period. The Harris campaign also reported receiving $47 million in the 24-hour period following Tuesday’s debate.

Harris and her allied political action committee have reserved more than $300 million in ad time over the last two months of the campaign, more than double the TV ad spending by Trump and his PAC, according to AdImpact data.

Several other Harris-Walz fundraising events are expected to be held around L.A. on Oct. 5, though not with Harris present.

Harris attended a fundraiser on Saturday at the Washington Hilton, which included Common and California Sen. Laphonza Butler among the speakers, according to a pool report.

She expected to campaign this week in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. Among her upcoming events is a “Unite for America” livestream with Oprah Winfrey on Thursday.

Deadline first reported the Sept. 29 fundraiser.
