Kamala Harris to hold campaign rally in Washington DC a week before Election Day

Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to deliver a speech in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, one week before Election Day.

Harris’ rally comes as the election hangs on a knife’s edge, with polls in various swing states showing a statistical tie between the Democrat and Republican former President Donald Trump.

Trump on Tuesday morning is scheduled to hold a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida. On Sunday, Trump held a rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Harris will address an audience on the Ellipse near the White House, the same location where Trump held his “Stop the Steal” rally before the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

What time is Kamala Harris’ campaign event?

Registration for the event is free, with people able to sign up through the Democratic National Committee’s website. The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET, with doors opening to the public at 3 p.m. ET.

The speech will be at the Ellipse, also sometimes referred to as President's Park South, located south of the White House.

Where to watch and stream the event

Although no information has been released on where people can stream the event online, the Kamala Harris YouTube page has been the place where other rallies have been previously livestreamed.
