WASHINGTON – Vice President Kamala Harris is planning to address voters in the Fox Valley on Thursday, according to the Harris campaign.

The visit would be Harris' fifth to Wisconsin since she became the Democrats' presidential nominee in late July. The campaign on Tuesday said Harris will be in the Fox Valley but did not specify a location.

Wisconsin Democrats this week sent voters a registration link for an "event in the Fox Valley with Vice President Kamala Harris." The advisory lists the event as scheduled from between 3 and 6 p.m. Central Time.

The event in the Fox Valley would come just two days after former President Donald Trump's own stop in Wisconsin. Trump was scheduled Tuesday to stop in the Democratic strongholds of Milwaukee and Dane County — two places where Democrats tend to vastly outperform Republicans.

In Dane County, population growth and voter turnout have increased Democrats' margins in the area in statewide elections. Trump visits are likely an attempt to eat into those numbers.

Harris' last visit to Wisconsin in late September also landed her in Madison.

The visit to the Fox Valley would be the first to northeastern Wisconsin for Harris or her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
