A check of the home’s security cameras revealed “three masked men armed with AK-style rifles and a handgun” entered the home through an unlocked door. Detectives added that it appeared the suspects may have been familiar with the home.
Officers reported that a resident, who was asleep upstairs, was unaware of the burglary happening downstairs and was not hurt during the incident.
Through an investigation, Kenner detectives were able to identify the vehicle used in the burglary, and through Flock technology, they found who it was registered to.
