Kenner teen accused of shooting at 15-year-old arrested

KENNER, La. (WGNO) — A Kenner teenager is in custody after allegedly shooting at a 15-year-old on Saturday, June 1.
New Orleans police investigate 7th Ward, Bywater shootings
According to the Kenner Police Department, the incident took place in the 2600 block of Acron Street and could have “stemmed from a disagreement.” Detectives said the 15-year-old was shot at multiple times, but no injuries were reported.
In the investigation, KPD officers obtained enough evidence to receive an arrest warrant for 17-year-old Quincy Ardon.
Police chase through Covington leads to arrest of teen burglary suspects
On Wednesday, June 12, officers found Ardon in the 500 block of 27th Street but he escaped before he could be arrested. He was later found in a LaPlace home and taken into custody.
According to the KPD, a gun was reportedly recovered at the residence which is “believed to have been used during the shooting.”
Ardon was charged with resisting arrest and attempted second-degree murder.
