What we know about Kamala Harris' and Tim Walz's Eau Claire rally, JD Vance speech Wednesday
Wednesday is a busy day in Wisconsin politics — both presidential campaigns will be in Eau Claire.
Vice President Kamala Harris and her new running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will hold the second rally in their tour of battleground states. Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance will also campaign in Eau Claire.
And in the early afternoon, the Marquette University Law School poll will release its highly anticipated poll of registered voters in Wisconsin, which asks about the new matchup between Harris and former President Donald Trump for the first time.

When is Kamala Harris' rally in Wisconsin on Wednesday?
Harris and Walz are expected to speak around 1:25 p.m., though the location hasn't been announced. Democratic Party of Wisconsin chairman Ben Wikler shared an RSVP link on social media that notes the location is private.
Harris and Walz are making Wisconsin the second stop on their swing through battleground states, which begins in Pennsylvania Tuesday night. They'll also visit Michigan on Wednesday night, followed by North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada.
Is Bon Iver playing at the Kamala Harris rally?
Bon Iver, an indie folk group, will also perform at the Harris rally. The band is led by Eau Claire born-and-based singer-songwriter Justin Vernon.
In 2020, Vernon led a get-out-the-vote effort in which he met with hesitant voters across the state, including in Eau Claire and Milwaukee.
When will JD Vance speak in Wisconsin?
Vance will also campaign in Eau Claire Wednesday afternoon. He's scheduled to deliver remarks at 1 p.m. CT.
A release from the Trump campaign indicates Vance will focus on the Biden-Harris administration's handling of the economy, crime and immigration. Vance is visiting cities along Harris' battleground tour throughout the week.
Where will JD Vance speak in Wisconsin? What is Wollard International?
Vance is expected to speak at Wollard International, which manufactures on-the-ground aviation equipment, such as passenger stairs and baggage conveyors. Wollard International is northwest of downtown Eau Claire.

Where is Eau Claire, Wisconsin?
Eau Claire is located in western Wisconsin, about a three-hour drive from Madison. It's about an hour-and-a-half drive from the Twin Cities.
Eau Claire is the eighth-largest city in Wisconsin by population, according to the last Census, with about 70,000 people.
Eau Claire is located in the competitive 3rd Congressional District, in which multiple Democrats are running to challenge Republican U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden.
Harris has visited western Wisconsin before — in April, she rallied voters around abortion and health care access in La Crosse, a city along the Mississippi River. Her last Wisconsin stop was in West Allis, where she held the first rally of her own presidential campaign.
