Lacombe man arrested in connection with child pornography, sexual abuse of animal investigation

LACOMBE, La. (WGNO) — A Lacombe man has been arrested in connection with a child pornography and sexual abuse of an animal investigation.
The Office of Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill reported that 36-year-old Randy Theodore Rodger II was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 27, after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The attorney general’s office reported that General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit worked with Homeland Security Investigations and Louisiana Probation and Parole to conduct the investigation.
Rodger was arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail on 15 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 and two counts of sexual abuse of an animal.
The attorney general’s office said the investigation is ongoing.
