Lafourche Parish, some Terrebonne Parish schools to reopen following Hurricane Francine
LAFOURCHE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — All Lafourche Parish schools and some Terrebonne Parish schools will reopen this week following Hurricane Francine.
The Lafourche Parish Schools system announced that all parish schools will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
Parents are asked to check their student’s school for events or activities that may have been rescheduled.
According to the school system, planned breaks or holidays haven’t been affected. Fall Break is scheduled for Oct. 14 to 15.
In Terrebonne Parish, all but one school will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
Grand Caillou Elementary still needs power. More details about the school will be posted around 3 p.m. on Monday on the GCE website, Facebook page and JCampus Robocall system.
