Large barn fire breaks out in Boston, roads closed

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A large barn fire broke out at a farm on Feddick Road in Boston early Wednesday morning.

The fire began sometime around 3:40 a.m. Wednesday. Feddick Road between Mayer Road and North Boston Road was closed for a time as crews fought the blaze.

An eyewitness on the scene told WIVB News 4 that around 75 cows were rescued from the barn, but three calves died. The cows were moved offsite shortly after the fire.
