Re: “‘Garbage’ insult is offensive from Kill Tony or Joe Biden,” by David Plazas, Nov. 3.
As Kamala Harris often says: “Let’s make this clear.” Nobody knows Kill Tony. Joe Biden is the elected Democratic President of the United States.
Your further comment “everybody heard what they heard” was a truthful answer to what he actually said. Most of the national press and the White House made excuses with what he “actually meant” to say.
Also, “Biden was absolutely wrong to say what he said and should apologize” was stated in the article. My opinion is that he meant what he said and should admit it. An apology for what he said is not acceptable.
Actually, calling someone “garbage” is not nearly as demining as calling someone “Hitler, or Stalin or Mussolini.” Trump and his supporters are called these names daily and repeated over and over from supporters from the Democratic Party.
Opinion: Trump, Republicans won big because Democrats failed to listen to the people
Garbage is waste that all of us are responsible for creating in one way or another. Most of it stinks and is a big problem of disposal.
The names mentioned above are responsible for the waste of incalculable number of human lives and destruction of human resources throughout the world. Isn't it strange that it took the remark calling people "garbage" to cause so many to disparage the reputation of so many people in this country.
