Levittown shooting spree victim knew alleged killer had gun, called 911: court documents
In less than 15 minutes triple murder suspect Andre Gordon Jr. left a trail of terror that kept a Lower Bucks County community in lockdown for hours on Saturday, according the court documents that outline the allegations.
The 26-year-old homeless man allegedly killed three people, assaulted a fourth, then committed his second gunpoint carjacking of the day between roughly 8:52 a.m. and 9:13 a.m. on March 16.
He was apprehended eight hours later on a Trenton street after he allegedly altered his appearance in an attempt to elude police again.
Those details were released Monday in a probable cause affidavit filed in Bucks County for Gordon, who remains incarcerated in Mercer County, New Jersey where he faces seperate charges for an armed carjacking there before allegedly committing his crimes in Pennsylvania.
Bucks County authorities said it could be at least two weeks before Gordon is extradited back to Pennsylvania where he will be arraigned on more than two dozen felony and misdemeanor charges including three counts each of first- and second-degree murder.

But criminal complaints filed in Bucks County and Mercer County offer the first full timeline for Gordon’s alleged violent spree and how he managed to elude authorities on both sides of the Delaware River for nine hours. The following is an account of the accusations against Gordon as alleged in court documents.
Police respond to Viewpoint Lane in Levittown
Falls Township police are called to a home in the Vermillion Hills section at 8:52 a.m. for a report of an armed man.
When officers arrive, though, Andre D. Gordon Jr. has fled.
In his wake, officers find the bodies of his stepmother, Karen Murphy Gordon, 52, and his youngestr sister, Kera, 13, dead of gunshot wounds in a rear room on the first floor of the home.
Inside the home, police found numerous shell casings and bullet holes in an interior wall and door, according to the affidavit released Monday. There was also blood on the front door of the home.
Blood was accumulating under the door of the room where Karen and Kera Gordon were found.
When police reviewed Ring doorbell footage, it showed Andre Gordon Jr. appear to use a rifle to break the glass on the front door before pointing the gun into the home and firing before fleeing the scene.
Police learned three other people who were in the home when the shooting occurred were not injured. They included Andre D. Gordon Sr., who told police his wife had woken him up to tell him that his son, Andre Jr., was at the front door.
The father opened the door to confront his son, Andre Jr., who authorities described as homeless. The men argued before the older Gordon shut the door, and returned to his bedroom to get dressed, the affidavit said.
But outside, Andre Gordon Jr. allegedly took an untraceable semi-automatic rifle out of a bag. He used it to bang on the front door so hard it broke the glass window.
His father heard what he thought were gunshots and remained in his bedroom until police arrived.
But by then Andre Gordon Jr. had moved onto his next target, police said.
A confrontation and call to 911 from Edgewood Lane in Falls
Falls police were told there was a second report of an armed man at a home less than three miles away in the township’s Elderberry section.
Taylor Daniel told a 911 dispatcher that Andre Gordon Jr. — the father of her two daughters — was at the front door with a gun.
Four minutes later, officers from nearby Bristol Township arrived at the home, but once again, Gordon escaped.
The officers were met by Daniel’s brother, John. He led police to a rear bedroom where Taylor Daniel was on the ground, dead of a gunshot wound.
John Daniel told police he was asleep in his bedroom when he heard Taylor yelling that Gordon was at the door with a gun. He then heard Taylor tell their mother, Nancy, to get into her bedroom.
After hearing some kind of altercation between his sister and Gordon, Daniel heard what he believed was gunshots. He ran out of his bedroom to find his sister unresponsive on the floor and his mother with a head injury.
His two nieces were there, too, and he immediately got them out of the room, the affidavit said.
Nancy Daniel told police she heard gunshots and ran out of the bedroom. She picked up a wooden ax handle and started hitting Gordon.
He then struck her in the head with the rifle cutting her head, before fleeing the home.

Another 911 call comes into Bucks County dispatch, this one a man in the parking lot of the Dollar General on Bristol Pike. He reported he was putting air in a tire on his 2016 Honda CR-V when a man, later identified as Gordon, approached him and showed him a long gun in a bag.
Gordon ripped the air compressor from the tire, got into the vehicle and drove off.
The owner of the Honda was not injured.
When police arrived they found an abandoned 2013 Nissan Altima near Windsor Drive, which is near the Dollar Tree. The vehicle had been reported carjacked at gunpoint in Trenton earlier that morning, the affidavit said.
Andre Gordon Jr. heads back to Trenton after murders: court documents
Trenton police put out an alert earlier Saturday morning about a Nissan Altima that was carjacked at gunpoint in the 1000 block of Southard Street. A short time later, Bucks County dispatch notified them they found the car, according to a New Jersey criminal complaint,
Trenton police also learned the suspected carjacker, Gordon, was wanted for three murders in Bucks County, and he was suspected in a second armed carjacking in Morrisville, which is across the Delaware River from Trenton.
Trenton police did a database search and learned that Gordon had family ties to a home in the 150 block of Phillips Avenue in Trenton, the New Jersey complaint said.
When Trenton police responded to the area they found the abandoned Honda CR-V in front of a home in the 140 block of Miller Avenue, about a block away from where Gordon’s relatives home.
While Trenton police were securing the area, a resident of the Phillips Avenue home associated with Gordon called 911 to report he entered the home a short time ago, and he was still there, the New Jersey complaint said.
Trenton police obtained a search warrant for the Phillips Avenue home, but while they were waiting for the Mercer County Tactical Response Team to enter the home, Gordon escaped again.

An arrest ends crime spree in NJ, PA
Police apprehended Gordon about five blocks from the Phillips Avenue and Miller Street area after several hours, according to the Bucks County affidavit. They had been focusing on the relatives home during tht time, believing Gordon was still inside.
When he was arrested, authorities found he had cut his hair in an attempt to alter his appearance, the Bucks document said.
He was taken into custody without incident after identifing himself to the arresting officer.
When Gordon was in custody, Trenton police searched the Phillips Avenue home, where they found a multi-caliber semi-automatic assault rifle, which New Jersey authorities described as a "ghost gun." Police believe it's the weapon that Gordon used in the carjacking in New Jersey and the murders and carjacking in Bucks County.
A ghost gun is an unregulated, untraceable and unserialized firearm that is the fastest-growing gun safety issue in the United States, according to Everytown for Gun Safety. The weapons are described as homemade DIY guns that can be made using building blocks that can be purchased without a background check.
In the home, police also found extended round magazines, hollow-point bullet cartridges, electronic devices and clothing believed to be worn by Gordon when he committed the carjackings and murder, the New Jersey complaints said.
