Who is on Litchfield Park City Council? What to know about the members
The Litchfield Park City Council is comprised of six members who serve four-year terms. Here's what to know.
Vice Mayor Paul J. Faith
Vice Mayor Paul J. Faith is a lifelong resident of the West Valley. He was first appointed to the City Council in 2004 to fill a vacant seat and was reelected in 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022. He is a senior partner with the law firm Faith, Ledyard, & Faith, PLC. He has served as general counsel for numerous cities and towns throughout the valley. Faith is also president of the West Maricopa County Bar Association.
Faith is a licensed commercial and residential general building contractor, instrument-rated pilot, U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marine and State of Alaska licensed guide. His term will be up in 2027.
Councilmember Ann Donahue
Councilmember Ann Donahue has lived in Litchfield Park since 1993 when she moved with her husband John and their two children from Washington State. She was first elected to City Council in 2016 and was reelected in 2020.
After 18 years as a domestic engineer, Donahue worked for the Litchfield Elementary School District as the public information officer and community liaison in 2011 before retiring in 2016.
Councilmember John Romack
Councilmember Romack was born and raised in the Chicago area before moving to Litchfield Park with his wife and daughter in 1976. He has had a career in construction, building and remodeling both homes and commercial buildings.
Romack was first elected in 2008 and was reelected in 2012, 2016, and 2020. His term will expire in 2025.
Councilmember Lisa Brainard Watson
Councilmember Lisa Brainard Watson has lived in Litchfield Park since 1974.
An Army brat, she retired in 2018 after teaching for 21 years in the Litchfield and Agua Fria districts. She has two grown children and three grandchildren. She has been an avid member for the Litchfield Park Historical Society Board of Directors for 12 years.
Brainard Watson's term will expire in 2027.
Councilmember Ron Clair
Clair is an Arizona native born at Ft. Huachuca while his father was stationed there, but he lived in several different states growing up.
He currently is the regional operations manager of All My Sons Moving & Storage, which services the entire state. He has been with the company for 20 years.
Clair has lived in the West Valley since 2013 with his wife and their son. He was first appointed to the City Council in 2019 and was elected in 2020. His term will expire in 2025.
Councilmember Justin James
Councilmember Justin James and his wife Denise, along with their two children moved to Litchfield Park in 2014 from Salt Lake City, Utah. James is a 2002 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served 3 deployments as a Surface Warfare Officer from 2002-2007 in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
James has since worked as director of sales at Pride Transport, a family-owned refrigerated trucking company, since 2007. He was first elected to the City Council in 2022, and his term will expire in 2027.
