Little Rock police investigating after Tuesday shooting leaves 1 dead near Eagle Hill Golf Course

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Police in Little Rock are investigating after a woman was killed during a Tuesday afternoon shooting near the Eagle Hill Golf Course in the Otter Creek area.

Officials with the Little Rock Police Department said officers responded to reports of a shooting just before 2 p.m. in the 100 block of Birdie Lane.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they said they found the woman dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Department officials said the officers secured the scene and detectives arrived to start their investigation.

Little Rock looks to expand view of Real Time Crime Center

There has been no information released at this time on the identity of the victim. Police have also not said if anyone else was injured in connection with this shooting.
