Local rivers rising past flood stage

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — We have multiple ongoing River Flood Warnings throughout SE Louisiana after 5-10 inches of rain came down with Hurricane Francine yesterday, Sept. 11th.

The Tchefuncte River at Folsom is expected to crest at 18 ft. This puts the river at major flood stage by TONIGHT.

The Bogue Falaya at Boston St. will crest at 15 ft. which is moderate flood stage for that location.

The Tangipahoa River a Robert will rise to near flood stage at 17.5 ft.
