Lockport man arrested on child pornography, gun charges
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Lockport man was arrested Thursday on multiple charges, including promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child, New York State Police announced.
A search warrant was executed on Beattie Avenue as a result of an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation, which found that 46-year-old Nathaniel Devries allegedly possessed child pornography and was disseminating it.
Officials said Devries, who does not have a state pistol permit, was also in possession of a loaded Glock pistol, a Taurus revolver and multiple loaded magazines containing 15 to 30 rounds.
Devries was transported to the Lockport Police Department for arraignment and was arrested for the following:
promoting a sexual performance by a child
possessing a sexual performance by a child
criminal possession of a firearm, two counts
third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, five counts
