Loose pig roaming Door County despite capture attempts the past two days, Sheriff’s Office looking for owner

(WFRV) – Anyone in Door County who sees a loose pig roaming around is being asked to call the Sheriff’s Office as the pig has not been captured over the past two days.

According to the Door County Sheriff’s Office, there is a loose pig roaming around in the area of STH 42/57 near County MM and PJ’s Gas Station. This is in the southern part of Door County.

Officials say that despite multiple attempts over the past two days, the pig has not been captured. Additionally, authorities are still actively trying to find the owner.

The Door County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone traveling in the area to be aware of the loose pig. The priority is reportedly to capture the big before anything happens.

Those who see the pig are asked to call the Door County Sheriff’s Office at 920-746-2400.
