Lottery ticket hits jackpot in NE Ohio

AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – A lucky winner has hit the jackpot.

According to the Ohio Lottery, the ticket holder claimed a $199,000 Rolling Cash 5 jackpot prize for the Saturday, July 20, draw.

Lottery luck strikes again at local gas station

After state and federal taxes, the winner will take home $143,280.

The ticket was sold at Wing Warehouse on E Waterloo Road.

The Ohio Lottery says the winner used the auto pick feature to choose his numbers.

The winning numbers were 1-9-21-24-28.

Rolling Cash 5 is a daily draw game.

Risk level issued as part of ongoing coffee recall

The jackpot starts at $100,000 and grows every time there isn’t a 5 of 5 winner.

According to lottery officials, the odds of winning a Rolling Cash 5 jackpot are 1 in 575,757.

Northeast Ohio has seen multiple Rolling Cash 5 winners in the last few weeks.
