Louisiana man faces new child porn charges after victims found in other countries
LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — A Louisiana man who was previously arrested faces additional charges of possession of child pornography.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office said Damien Anthony Gilpin, 22, of Denham Springs, faces 10 counts of possession of pornography involving a juvenile, one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one count of computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
“Detectives were able to locate multiple victims – several victims were from other countries. LPSO worked diligently with our law enforcement partners at Homeland Security (HSI Agents) from both US and Foreign Agencies,” Sheriff Jason Ard said in a Facebook post.
Gilpin was first arrested in Dec. 2023 after deputies got a tip. He was charged with three counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles. He faced three more charges of possession of child pornography in May after victims were identified in West Virginia, Nebraska, Australia and Canada.
Ard said the investigation is ongoing.
According to LPSO, Gilpin remains at the Livingston Parish Detention Center.
