Love Lies Bleeding sets new Rotten Tomatoes record for Kristen Stewart
Kristen Stewart's new movie Love Lies Bleeding has set a welcome record for the actor.
The film follows two women; a gym manager and a travelling bodybuilder, who fall in love but are wrapped up in the dangerous worlds of crime and addiction. It contains some "sweaty and gross" sex scenes, and a pretty surreal ending sequence.
After releasing in various territories across March and April, it came out in the UK this week. All the new reviews that have accompanied the UK have landed the film a score of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.

That high percentage has set the record for Stewart's highest-scoring film on Rotten Tomatoes, with one small caveat.
The film Love, Antosha actually has a 97% Rotten Tomatoes rating, but as that project is a documentary in which the actor appears as herself, talking about the loss of Anton Yelchin, it's not really a "film" in the same category.
As a reminder, a Rotten Tomatoes score doesn't take all the review scores and work out the average, but reflects how many of the reviews were positive, regardless of the score at the end.

Looking ahead, it was recently announced that Stewart and Oscar Isaac are set to team up for a new vampire thriller titled Flesh of the Gods. Apparently the two will be playing a married couple living in 1980s Los Angeles who discover a night-time world of hedonism and violence.
Meanwhile, her Love Lies Bleeding co-star Katy O'Brian has joined the next entry in the Mission: Impossible series.
Love Lies Bleeding is out now in UK cinemas. It is available to rent or buy digitally in the US from Prime Video, iTunes and more
