Lower Garden District shooting leaves man dead
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man is dead after a shooting in the Lower Garden District early Monday, July 8.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, at 1:27 a.m., police responded to a call of a shooting at the corner of Tchoupitoulas Street and Andrew Higgins Drive.

When they arrived, officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 36-year-old Demond Foley on Wednesday, July 10.
