LSP: 4 arrested, face child trafficking charges after missing Texas child found
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Louisiana State Police-Special Victims Unit in collaboration with the FBI, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Gonzales Police Department, arrested four individuals allegedly involved in child trafficking for sexual purposes.
LSP said following the report of a missing juvenile from Texas, believed to be in the Gonzales area, investigators found the child and arrested Kiara Davis, 20, of Gonzales, Jayden Hodge, 19, of Dallas, Antonio Jackson, 21, of Phoenix and La’Niyia Campbell, 18, of Dallas.
Each person has been charged with trafficking of children for sexual purposes and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail. State police said the juvenile is safe and in the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services.
The investigation is ongoing.
