M?tley Crüe ready to rock the 2024 Illinois State Fair

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — Iconic hard rock band M?tley Crüe will be part of the Illinois State Fair’s Grandstand lineup this August, officials announced.

M?tley Crüe hails from Los Angeles and has been rockin’-and-rollin’ stages across the world for more than four decades.

The quartet have established themselves as rock legends, selling 100 million albums worldwide and getting seven USA platinum and multi-platinum albums, 22 Top 40 mainstream rock hits, six Top 20 pop singles, three Grammy nominations, five New York Times best-selling books, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and a hit Netflix movie. Their songs have more than 5 billion streams across digital platforms, and the band has over 8 million followers on social media.

Illinois State Fair adds Jordan Davis to Grandstand lineup

Now, M?tley Crüe is set to perform live at the Illinois State Fair on August 10.

“Fans have been waiting for a rock addition to the Illinois State Fair Grandstand lineup,” State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark said. “M?tley Crüe puts on a legendary live performance, and we are so excited to bring these rock icons to Springfield.”

M?tley Crüe continues performing with John 5 on guitar, selling out shows around the globe. They recently concluded a two-year worldwide stadium tour.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale March 2 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster, along with all other announced shows that are currently on sale.
