‘Male moron menacing Menasha after midnight:’ Fox Crossing police seek help identifying suspect in attempted thefts

MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) — Authorities in the Fox Valley are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of attempting to steal items from garages, service doors, and vehicles.

Early Tuesday morning, the Fox Crossing Police Department received several reports of break-ins at unlocked garages and vehicles, including missing items and an attempted vehicle theft.

Police obtained home security footage showing the suspect approaching garages, service doors, and vehicles.

As the investigation continues, the department is asking residents to review home camera footage from the early hours of Oct. 16, 2024, for any suspicious activity.

The Fox Crossing Police Department referred to the incident as a “male moron menacing Menasha after midnight.”
