PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Authorities are trying to contact a man accused of “intentionally” running over a flock of seagulls on a Washington beach and nearly striking two beachgoers, according to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police.
Around 8 p.m. July 27, the man allegedly ran over and killed 25 seagulls while driving a silver Jeep Cherokee near the Klipsan Beach approach outside of Long Beach, according to WDFWP.

Multiple witnesses — including three people who stopped the driver and took photos of his car — also reported that same Jeep nearly hit two people walking their dogs on the beach, officials said.
Authorities said they identified the driver, who is believed to be living out of state, and are working to contact him.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police.
