Man accused of murder inside Sherman St. home last July

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police announced an arrest after a man was shot and killed in a home on Sherman Street last month.

On Sunday, July 28, 32-year-old Alec Ojeda was shot multiple times around 5:30 a.m. Investigators said he was arguing with the suspect, who pulled out a gun and began firing. Ojeda died shortly after he arrived at the hospital.

Investigators accused 35-year-old Timothy Patterson of fatally shooting Ojeda. He was found in the area of Lyell Avenue Tuesday night and was arrested without incident.
