Man arrested in connection to sexual exploitation of a minor
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Bakersfield man was arrested in connection to sexual exploitation of a minor Wednesday.
Police say the Bakersfield Human Trafficking Team began the investigation into the sexual exploitation of a minor in December of 2023.
Matthew Vales, 25, was arrested in connection to the alleged exploitation.

Vales was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 11 on suspicion of multiple offenses related to having sex with a minor and other related offenses.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
