UPDATE: Mobile Police looking to identify man seen at gas station after Moffett Road homicide

UPDATE (12:41 p.m.): The Mobile Police Department said they are looking for an individual who was seen at the Chevron gas station on Thursday as part of their investigation into the homicide on Moffett Road.

A spokesperson with the department said the person “is not considered a person of interest, but investigators would like to speak with him as soon as possible.”

The individual was seen on surveillance camera at the store, according to authorities. Below are photos that police hope can be used to identify him.

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man has died after being shot at a Chevron on Moffett Road Thursday night, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Officers were called to the Chevron at 4126 Moffett Road around 10:10 p.m. for a report of shots fired, an MPD news release said.

The release said when officers arrived, they found that a vehicle, a gas pump, and a nearby home had been hit by gunfire.

Officers also found that a man had been taken to a hospital in a personal vehicle with injuries and was pronounced dead, according to officials.

Police said the gunfire originated from a vehicle that had entered the parking lot.
