Man found shot dead in St. Roch neighborhood overnight
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide in the St. Roch neighborhood.
Officers report they were called to the corner of Duel and Touro streets around 10:15 p.m. on Monday, July 15.
Man shot, killed in Central City
Upon arrival, an unresponsive man, identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office as 35-year-old Anthony Walker, was found on the scene where he was pronounced dead by NOLAEMS. It was later discovered that the man had been shot.
No further details are available at this time.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the man’s identity after an autopsy is done and the family is notified.
