Man’s identity unconfirmed after being killed by car
TAMAQUA, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are investigating a deadly crash where a man was hit and killed by a car.
According to the Tamaqua Police Department, on Monday, September 9 around 4:30 a.m. officers were called to East Broad Street for a crash involving a pedestrian.

Once officers arrived they found a man lying in the roadway and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver stayed on the scene and was cooperative with officers.
The victim’s identity has not been confirmed at his time, the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office continues to investigate.
