Person charged in connection with fatal overnight shooting
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person is facing a murder charge after a man was killed in a shooting at Jersey Street and 7th Street on Buffalo’s West Side early Thursday morning, according to police.
Police said the shooting happened just before 4:30 a.m. during some type of dispute. The victim, identified Friday as 35-year-old Travis Martin of Buffalo, was transported to ECMC where he was later pronounced dead. He was shot in the chest.
On Friday, police said 35-year-old Raymond Torres has been charged with second-degree murder.
