Man killed after being hit by car in West Seneca
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man was killed when he was hit by a car on Mineral Springs Road in West Seneca on Thursday night, police said Friday.
Police responded to the 500 block of Mineral Springs around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, where the man, identified as 37-year-old Darnell Collins, was hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe he was walking or standing in the road when he was hit.
The driver of the vehicle, a 40-year-old Buffalo woman, remained on the scene and no charges have been filed. Nobody in the woman’s car was injured.
The road was shut down for several hours afterwards. The crash remains under investigation.
