Man killed in St. Roch shooting, police investigate
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man is dead following a shooting in the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans in the early morning hours of Saturday, Aug. 3.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Saint Roch Avenue around 12:46 a.m. on reports of a person being shot.
When police arrived, they found a man lying in the median having been shot several times. He was declared dead after emergency services arrived on scene.
On Tuesday, Aug. 6, the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 32-year-old Brandon Hayward.
