Man shot and killed during altercation on Brinkman
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man was shot and killed during an altercation on Brinkman Avenue on Buffalo’s East Side on Thursday afternoon, according to police.
Police said the victim was shot in the chest during the altercation on the 100 block of Brinkman. He attempted to leave the scene by bicycle after being shot, but he collapsed on Sumner Street. The shooting happened around 1 p.m.
He was transported to ECMC and was later pronounced dead. The 17-year-old was arraigned on Friday morning and was remanded to the Erie County Youth Services Center. He will return to court on Nov. 7.
