Man wanted in 2023 Marrero quadruple shooting

MARRERO, La. (WGNO) — A Marrero man is wanted by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office in connection with a quadruple shooting that resulted in the death of one person in July 2023.
According to the JPSO, 18-year-old Gerald Lampkin has been identified as a suspect in the shooting and is wanted on three counts of attempted first-degree murder, one count of first-degree murder and obstruction of justice.
In 2023, Sheriff Joseph Lopinto reported that deputies responded to a shooting that had occurred in the 6700 block of Mather Drive in Marrero around 6:40 p.m.

Once on scene, officers found three men and one woman who had been shot. The four individuals were taken to a local hospital where one of the men later died.
