Man wins $100,000 on slot machine at this San Diego-area casino
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A slot machine draw at a San Diego-area casino earned one lucky man a six-figure jackpot last month.
The player, a man by the name of Santiago, won $105,654 at Valley View Casino & Hotel on Saturday, July 13. He said he frequently visits the casino, which is located in Valley Center. This visit, however, is sure to live on his memory.

“I’m at Valley View’s restaurants at least once a week,” said Santiago. “After eating, I love to stay around and play at the casino. Valley View is so close to my house, it just makes for a perfect evening.”
Officials with the casino said the lucky man was playing an one of their “state-of-the-art” slot machines when he hit the jackpot.
“Nothing makes us happier than seeing our guests experience these life-changing moments,” said David Spence, Valley View’s director of gaming operations. “At Valley View, we strive to create an atmosphere that’s fun and exciting, but also holds the thrill of opportunity.
Spence continued, stating, “Santiago’s monumental win goes to show the excitement that awaits every guest who walks through our doors.”
