Mandeville PD: Bike rider burglarized gas station
MANDEVILLE, La. (WGNO) — The Mandeville Police Department is trying to identify and arrest a suspect who is accused of breaking into a gas station and stealing some of its merchandise. Police say the man was riding a bicycle to and from the crime scene. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
According to police, the crime happened around 1:45 in the morning on August 7 at the Shell gas station in the 500 block of North Causeway Boulevard. Police say the man used a paving stone to shatter the store’s door glass. Once inside, he’s accused of stealing merchandise from the store.
