The match-up between Trump and Harris is looking like a close one, as poll after poll shows them in a near tie to be the next president.

The candidates have largely spent their final campaign efforts looping through the swing states for campaign appearances.
In the final week of the campaigns, a comedian kicked up controversy that lingered through several daily news cycles. Tony Hinchcliffe, known as "Kill Tony" called Puerto Rico a "floating pile of garbage" at a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden, causing criticism from both sides of the aisle and costing Trump at least one endorsement. Biden also came under fire for calling Trump supporters "garbage" while condemning the comedian, prompting Trump to show up to a rally in a garbage truck.
Harris gave her final pitch to voters in a Washington D.C. rally on Tuesday.
