How many times has Donald Trump visited Pennsylvania in gear up to RNC?
Former President Donald Trump’s visit to Butler County on Saturday, marked at least his fifth trip to Pennsylvania this year, and his final campaign event for the presumptive 2024 GOP Presidential nominee before the July 15 Republican National Convention kickoff in Milwaukee.
Trump was rushed off the stage after a bullet grazed his ear in what is being called an assassination attempt. At least one rally spectator was killed and two others critically injured after an unidentified shooter fired multiple shots toward the stage shortly after 6 p.m.

The U.S. Secret Service shot and killed the shooter, who was reportedly in an elevated position outside the Butler Farm Show Grounds.
Here is what we know about the Trump campaign's recent and past visits to Pennsylvania, considered among the most important swing states in the November election.

The Butler stop was the first in Western Pennsylvania this year for the Trump campaign. Trump won Butler County, which has a population of roughly 197,000, by double digits in the 2016 and 2020.
So far this year, Trump has made at least five other campaign visits to Pennsylvania: Philadelphia, Dauphin County, Bucks County, Montgomery County and Lehigh County, which all voted for President Joe Biden in 2020.
At an April visit, Trump attended a 300-person fundraiser at the Newtown Athletic Club followed by an evening rally in Schnecksville, Montgomery County.
In 2020, Trump visited Pennsylvania 13 times between January and Nov. 2, 2020, including an October 2020 visit to the Keith House in Upper Makefield.
Trump's campaign website does not have any future rallies in Pennsylvania, or elsewhere posted as of Saturday night, and officials have not said if he plans to change his schedule between now and November. He is due in Milwaukee this week to accept the GOP nomination.
On Saturday night, the PEnnsylvania State Police said troopers on scene in Butler assisted "the Secret Service in various capacities."
