The Masked Singer star Jake Shears has revealed which celebrity he thinks could be the person behind the Hedgehog mask on the ITV reality show.

During a dramatic double elimination last weekend, Jake was unmasked as Unicorn, while Skunk Anansie singer Skin was revealed to be the celebrity behind the Duck costume.

And now that he's been eliminated from the ITV programme, Jake has offered his insight into who he thinks Hedgehog might be.

"I think Tony Hadley may be Hedgehog, from Spandau Ballet," Jake said during an interview on Lorraine today (February 3).

"I was riding home in a cab one night after hearing him sing and I thought it was him."

Jake's comments come after guest panellist Sharon Osbourne speculated that Hedgehog is actually none other than This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield.

The presenter was asked about the claim on This Morning today, with showbiz correspondent Kem Cetinay arguing that there's no way it could be true.

"I'm not saying anything. I told you, I'm not going to say a word!" Phillip said, before adding: "Poker face from me, Kem. Poker face from me."

Phillip's co-host Holly Willoughby was also previously linked to the show when The Masked Singer judge Jonathan Ross suggested that she could be Octopus.

"Guys, she's got a really good voice!" Holly later responded in a previous This Morning episode. "[If I can sing like that], I wouldn't be sitting here now!"

The Masked Singer airs on Saturday evenings on ITV, while Lorraine and This Morning air weekday mornings on ITV.
