Meet the 13th Assembly District candidates in the Republican primary in Tuesday's election
Two candidates are running in the Republican primary for the 13th Assembly District seat of the state Legislature in the Aug. 13 primary election.
Patti Granger and Tom Michalski face off in the primary, with the winner taking on Democrat Robyn Vining in the Nov. 5 general election. Vining is unopposed in the Democratic primary.
While Michalski is the incumbent in the district, Vining is the 14th Assembly District incumbent — the two are now in the same district after legislative maps were changed.
The 13th Assembly District includes Wauwatosa, Elm Grove and part of Brookfield.
