Local leaders chosen for their time, talent and treasure
The following awardees are leaders who generously provide their time, talent or treasure to charitable causes while inspiring others to create a significant difference on the Lower Eastern Shore, said CFES.
“As younger generations become more involved in giving back to the Lower Shore it is important to recognize their philanthropic spirit. We congratulate the honorees and hope that by highlighting their contributions to the community others are encouraged to do the same," said CFES President Erica Joseph.
Nominations were accepted until May 15. To qualify, honorees must have been under the age of 40 at some point during 2024 and should have reached their 21st birthday prior to the nomination deadline.
The nominee’s philanthropic impact must have occurred in Somerset, Wicomico, and/or Worcester counties. If a nominee works in nonprofit, their impact was measured beyond the scope of the employment.
