Memorial service set for 2-year-old girl pulled from pool in Arab
ARAB, Ala. (WHNT) — The family of Violet Satterfield, a 2-year-old girl who died after being pulled from a swimming pool in Arab has announced a memorial service to honor her memory.
The family says the service will be held at the Bullard Farm and Pavilion in Snead, Alabama on Wednesday, July 24 at 6 p.m.
The family is requesting people in attendance to wear purple in support of Violet.
2-year-old Violet Satterfield passed away in early July after getting into a pool without her floaties.
She died a week later after being taken to Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham to be treated.
According to Violet’s mother, doctors were able to find recipient matches for Violet’s heart, liver, and kidneys.
