About “Crying in H Mart”: Zauner’s bestselling memoir explores “family, food, grief, and endurance” as the musician recounts “growing up the only Asian-American kid at her school in Eugene, Oregon… [and] struggling with her mother's particular, high expectations of her,” the book’s official summary states.
The forthcoming film adaptation of “Crying in H Mart,” which is currently in development, will be directed by “The White Lotus” star Will Sharpe.
