Milwaukee is searching for bilingual election inspectors ahead of the August primary
The Milwaukee Election Commission is looking for election inspectors for the upcoming August primary. These inspectors will provide voters with customer service and ensure each voter casts their vote. The commission is primarily seeking individuals who are bilingual in fluent English and Spanish or English and Hmong.
Election inspectors will receive a $220 stipend for a full-day shift or $117 for a half-day shift, including an additional $45 for attending training. Those who are bilingual will also receive and extra $15.
To qualify for this position you must be a U.S. citizen who is in high school or above 18 and a resident of Milwaukee County without felony convictions.
If interested in fulfilling this position, apply online or in-person at the Election Commission Office inside City Hall, 200 E. Wells Street, Room 501. You'll need to complete the employee information sheet and show your social security card, register for a training class and review the election inspector manual.
