Missing 14-year-old girl found in Jefferson Parish
JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A girl who was last seen at a museum in New Orleans in May has been found in Jefferson Parish.
The New Orleans Police Department initially reported that 14-year-old Kristhal Chinchilla-Canizales was last seen on Wednesday, May 22 while on a day trip to a museum in the downtown area.

Investigators considered her disappearance critical because they were concerned that she may have been a trafficking victim.
On Friday, July 25, the NOPD reported that she had been found in Jefferson Parish. Further details about her recovery, including her condition, weren’t released.
