Missing 65-year-old man last seen walking dog found dead: KCPD
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The search for a missing 65-year-old Kansas City, Missouri man is now a death investigation.
Kansas City police say Terry Day was last seen a week ago, Thursday, Aug. 1, in the area of East 94th Street and Pleasant Avenue around 7 p.m. walking a brown and white mix-breed dog.
KCPD says on Thursday, Aug. 8, Day was located deceased in a wooded area.
Detectives with KCPD are now actively investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
KCPD did confirm that at some point, Day’s dog was found safe and reunited with family.

KCPD said the medical examiner will make the final determination of the cause and manner of his death.
