Missing Lakewood teen found ‘in good health’

LAKEWOOD, Ohio (WJW) – The Lakewood Police Department reported they found a local teenager who had been missing for nearly two months.

According to a press release from police, Madison Rich, 17, has been missing since Aug. 15.

Police said she left her home between 12 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. that day.

Police believed she was at the Express Inn on Northfield Road in Warrensville Heights on Aug. 18.

According to police, a ping to her phone showed her near the 19000 block of South Miles Road on about Aug. 22.

‘Tragic accident’: 9 year-old dies after being hit by car

Her phone was later turned off.

Lakewood police on Oct. 13 reported they had found Rich unharmed. She was “found in good health,” said detective Michael Perhacs.

The girl had called a friend, asking to be picked up to return home. That information was forwarded to police.

She has been reunited with her family.
