Missing Wisconsin mother and son found dead, hidden on their property being investigated as homicides
STRONGS PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV) – The deaths of a mother and son in central Wisconsin are being investigated as homicides after the body of one of the victims was found concealed at her home in late June.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found the body of Sharon K. Miller, also known as Sharon Miller-Robinson, during a welfare check at her residence on June 27 after Miller-Robinson hadn’t been heard from in days.

Deputies say that Miller-Robinson’s body was found to be ‘concealed’ shortly after law enforcement found evidence of a “recent ground disturbance consistent with digging or the burying of something on the property.”
In an initial release, Adams County deputies also asked the public for help locating Miller-Robinson’s son, Jami L. Lumby, 37. However, in a follow-up release on Sunday, June 30, deputies provided the information that Lumby’s body had also been discovered at their residence.
After autopsies of both Miller-Robinson and Lumby were performed on July 1, deputies stated that both deaths are being investigated as homicides and no suspect or suspects have been identified.
We have not identified any suspect(s) at this time. As part of this investigation, we have already submitted evidentiary items to the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory to help aid in this investigation. If a specific threat is identified to the community we will immediately notify the public.
