Mobile Police investigating alleged shooting during attempted robbery
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police are investigating after a man was shot during an attempted robbery, News 5 has learned.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers responded to a local hospital around 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, after receiving reports of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a male victim received non-life-threatening injuries.
Further investigations found that the victim was approached by an unknown male suspect in the 2800 block of Springhill Avenue who attempted to steal his vehicle.

The victim was struck by gunfire when he refused to comply, according to reports.
INCIDENT LOCATION:
After the attempted robbery, the victim drove himself to the hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
