More than 300K Entergy Louisiana customers lost power after Hurricane Francine
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — More than 300,000 Entergy customers across Louisiana lost power after Hurricane Francine made landfall in Terrebonne Parish on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
On Thursday, Sept. 12, Entergy Louisiana leaders said crews are working to restore power to more than 300,000 customers.
Damage assessment, Francine recovery begin in St. Charles Parish
Entergy leaders said residents are advised to stay away from downed powerlines and flooded areas as lineworkers, tree trimmers and scouts continue to assess and work in the area.
In a 12:30 p.m. update, Entergy officials said 248,000 customers were without power, with about 50,000 customers in New Orleans.

Entergy leaders said crews began restoration efforts overnight, and estimated restoration times will become available as crews continue to assess storm damage.
